Physiotherapy - Conditions I treat

For Parents and Families

​

  • Neurological conditions and disorders such as; cerebral palsy, Epilepsy, M.S,  stroke, spinal cord injuries, post SDR surgery.

​

  • Coordination difficulties and rheumatological disorders; developmental coordination's disorder (DCD), dyspraxia, JIA, lax ligaments and hypermobility issues.

​

  • Developmental advice; delays in milestones, prematurity of birth, movement concerns, Orthopaedic problems (erbs palsy, torticollis, toe walking etc.) 

​

  • Genetic and other disorders such as; Downs syndrome, chromosomal disorders, neuromuscular disorders.

​

  • Difficulties with function including;  walking, access to specific activities within the home, school, gym and community.

​

  • Chronic fatigue and Chronic pain - always in conjunction with a psychologist.

​

For Rehabilitation

​

  • Rehabilitation following trauma/head injury/spinal cord injury

​

  • Rehabilitation following orthopaedic or neurological surgery

 

  • Spinal dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) pre- and post surgery rehabilitation. 

​
